PESHAWAR: APR 29, 2026:
A delegation of the group initiative “Mashal-e-Aman” called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House on Wednesday. The delegation was led by Usman Ashraf and included Fayaz Afridi, Dr Sani, Dr Ahmad, Waqar Khan, Sidra Khan, Farwa Aqeel, and senior programme manager of the nationwide youth organisation Bargad, Saiqa Rani, along with other young members. During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Governor on the objectives of the “Mashal-e-Aman” project, which focuses on promoting civic education, inclusion, and resilience among the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated the initiative and said that youth are a valuable asset of any society and their positive guidance is the need of the time. He said that Governor House has always encouraged such initiatives under its youth engagement and women empowerment agenda, adding that such programmes play a vital role in steering young people away from extremism and towards constructive activities. The Governor assured the delegation of continued support for the welfare, education, and capacity building of youth in the province.
