Director General of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Khalid Inayatullah Khan, met with Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to review progress on establishing NADRA service centers and a passport counter in remote areas of Dera Ismail Khan. The meeting focused on the planned establishment of NADRA centers in Panyala and Kari Khesor, as well as a passport counter at the NADRA center in Paharpur. It was agreed that these facilities will be formally inaugurated next month, following the observance of Ashura.

Governor Kundi welcomed the initiative, saying that the new centers would significantly ease access to NADRA and passport-related services for the rural population of DI Khan. “This step will help eliminate the hardships faced by the local residents, especially those living in far-flung areas,” he said. The meeting also discussed the difficulties senior citizens and residents of remote regions face in obtaining national identity cards. Governor Kundi urged the NADRA DG to take practical steps to simplify the process across the province and ensure that public grievances are addressed efficiently. He emphasized the importance of expanding services to underserved communities and called for a people-friendly approach in resolving identification-related challenges.
