ISLAMABAD, SEP 23, 2025:
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday met with Chairman Wapda, Lieutenant General (R) Muhammad Saeed, and congratulated him on assuming office. The Governor termed his appointment a positive development, particularly for ongoing and future development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on the Chashma Lift Canal project Dera Ismail Khan. Governor Kundi expressed hope that with necessary reforms, the project would soon see tangible progress, directly benefiting the people. Chairman Wapda assured the Governor that practical work on the project would commence shortly. Pakistan Peoples Party’s Parliamentary Leader in KP Assembly, Ahmad Karim Kundi was also present at the meeting.
