Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has said that the province takes great pride in its talented youth whose achievements are not only highlighting the soft image of the province but also adding to the honour and dignity of the country. He expressed these views while addressing as chief guest at the “FAKHR-E-PAKHTUNKHWA Awards 2025” ceremony held at the Governor House Peshawar, on Saturday. The event was attended by Member Provincial Assembly Nisar Baz, Chairman Red Crescent KP Farzand Ali Wazir, Jamshed Khan, Dr. Hamza Jamshed, Nabeel Afridi, Haji Wahdat Khan, political and social figures, artists, doctors, engineers, poets, writers and people from various walks of life. On the occasion, the Governor presented Pride of Pakhtunkhwa Awards to 60 young achievers for their exceptional contributions in education, medicine, engineering, sports, politics, journalism, law, peacebuilding, literature, police services, music, and social activities.

Welcoming the distinguished personalities to the Governor House, Governor Kundi said that the awards serve as a beautiful tribute to hardworking and talented individuals. “Success and happiness multiply when shared,” he said, adding that such events play a vital role in projecting the province’s positive and peaceful image. The Governor congratulated the organizers, sponsors, and participants on the successful event and assured continued support of the Governor House in promoting youth empowerment, women’s independence, and a positive provincial identity. He further announced that similar award ceremonies would soon be organized to encourage athletes and farmers.
