PESHAWAR: MARCH 26, 2026:
Young artist and singer Saif Ali Khan becomes Goodwill Ambassador of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and the singer, in the presence of PRCS officials, volunteers and youth representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor congratulated Saif Ali Khan and expressed hope that he would effectively represent the organisation at national and international levels. He said engaging youth talent was among his top priorities and termed the initiative a step towards empowering young people to take leadership roles in various sectors. He also appreciated the performance of the Red Crescent in both settled and merged districts, saying its active role in relief efforts during natural disasters and assistance to affected communities, including distribution of food items during Ramazan. The Governor expressed confidence that the inclusion of a young goodwill ambassador would further enhance the organisation’s outreach and strengthen public trust, particularly among the youth.
