Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi visited Gilani House here on Friday and met Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani to discuss the overall political situation in the country. Secretary Information PPP Nadeem Afzal Chan was also present during the meeting. The two leaders held a detailed exchange of views on the prevailing political landscape, economic challenges, and issues related to national stability. They agreed that political harmony and continuity of the democratic process were essential in the current circumstances. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Kundi said that all political forces must play a collective role to address the challenges faced by the country, adding that resolving public issues should remain the top priority. Chairman Senate Gilani emphasized that Parliament was the guarantor of democratic stability in the country and that all institutions must work within their constitutional boundaries in the national interest. He further said that consultation and dialogue were key to resolving issues. The meeting also underscored the need to maintain law and order, promote public welfare, and accelerate the pace of development, while stressing joint efforts for ensuring political stability.
